As a third-generation electrician, there was never any doubt about what I’d do with my life. From the time I was six years old, I was out on job sites with my dad acting as his "gopher"—crawling into tight spaces, grabbing tools, and pulling wire. To me, it wasn’t just hard work; it was a privilege. By age thirteen, I transitioned to independent study just so I could work full-time doing commercial service work across San Diego.

I built my business on a strict motto passed down by my father, Tony Lamoureux: “If you’re going to do something, DO IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME! If not, you’re just wasting time and money, and nobody has enough of either.”

With over two decades in the trade, I’ve learned that true leadership means leading by example—respect isn’t given because of a title, it’s earned on the job. I take extreme pride in my work and never cut corners. People have told me I have an unhealthy passion for what I do, but in this trade, cutting corners can causes fires.

The electrical industry is constantly evolving, and I’m just as fascinated by it today as I was at eight years old learning how to rope a house with my dad. Every day is an opportunity to learn something new, pass down what I know, and be a better man than I was yesterday.
